Hazelhurst Books ("we", "us") operates hazelhurstbooks.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, in plain language.
When you sign up for our free guide, we collect your first name and email address. That's it. We don't ask for or knowingly collect anything else, and this website is intended for adults (parents, teachers, and other grown-ups), not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes one click and stops all marketing email from us.
Our email list is managed by MailerLite (our email service provider). Their privacy practices are described in the MailerLite privacy policy. This website is hosted on Cloudflare. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with anyone.
You join the list when you submit the signup form, and we record the date and time of your signup as the record of your consent. We only email you about the free guide, reading tips, and book news. If your address ends up on our list by mistake, every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or email max@hazelhurstbooks.com and we'll remove you straight away.
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email max@hazelhurstbooks.com and we'll sort it out. If you're in the EU, UK, or Australia, you also have rights under your local privacy laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, and the Australian Privacy Act respectively), and nothing here limits them.
